Highland High School senior Jack McGinty signed his letter of intent on February 7 to attend and play football for Gannon University in Erie, PA, where he received a partial athletic scholarship. The Hornets quarterback and three-year letter winner set a school record with 381 total yards of offense vs. Green High School and was named Honorable Mention All-Northeast Inland District, 1st Team All-Suburban League and received a County-high WFL rating of 123. Jack serves as a Peer Leader at HHS and plans to study Freshwater and Marine Biology while at Gannon. He is the son of Carolyn McGinty of Copley Township. Pictured with Jack are his mom, Carolyn, and stepdad, David Lamp.
